They encouraged us to speak up, lean in and take a seat at the table. Once upon a time, this was empowering. Today however, despite leaning in, and giving our all, we as women are still struggling for equal pay, representation and opportunity in the workplace and beyond. So what if instead of continuing to fight for a seat at the table with the “old boys club”, we said “We don’t need to wait for an invitation, we’re too busy building our own club, The New Girls Club”.
Our club is inclusive, respectful, empathetic, empowering, unfiltered, collaborative, assertive and most importantly, focused on lifting others up. During this Rebel Women event we’ll talk with some amazing women challenging the old boys club by building communities, support networks and infrastructure to invest in and develop more women in politics, entrepreneurship, business, the arts and the nonprofit space.
Our Amazing Speakers Include:
Missy Taylor - SVP of Operations, Dagger
Martine Resnick - Co-Founder, The Lola
Sammye-Ruth Scott - Director of A&R, Atlantic Records
Jina Sanone - Founder, Her Term
Erica Hogue - Co-Founder, MOR
Looking forward to seeing you!
